ROUND 1 - FOOTBALL WRITE UP
As we return for season 2022 there is a buzz around the kookaburra’s nest.
Jake Wilkinson is at the helm of the under 19s once again and has no doubt added to his coaching repertoire after what was becoming a promising 2021 season in his first year of coaching. We welcome all players from our junior ranks and those that have found their way from elsewhere.
Steve Medwell and Noel Lock are continuing in the role as reserves coaches and will be looking to continue on the teams fantastic 2021 form that would have seen a finals birth for the first time in a number of years. All the best to Meddy and Locky in what is hopefully another fruitful campaign.
Mick Searl & Co have put the boys through a long and promising pre season, everyone has been looking a treat on the park (particularly summer BOG Simon Butler) and will be looking for success on their path to the holy grail. List retention has been impressive, additionally the senior ranks welcome/welcome back the likes of Dean Robertson, Will Lovett, Bailey Veale, Jordan Crone, Kadek Irvan, Ethan Lawler and Lachy Lamb to name a few.
All the best to all players and coaches for the 2022 season, and finally, a special mention must go to our major sponsor - Sovereign Financial Group - and all other club sponsors for their support in the past and the upcoming season.
